Centred around an anonymous and unpublished Mass for the Dead from the early 16th century, this project brings together traditional Corsican singers and the singers and instrumentalists of the Capella Sanctae Crucis, creating an unexpected and lively polyphonic blend.
The strong sonority of the voices, intimately interwoven with the wind instruments, plunges listeners into a state of contemplation, suspended between the moment and eternity.
